Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms apply when you book or use services from Perth Poo Patrol (ABN 81 910 838 892), a sole trader business in Western Australia ("we", "us"). By getting a quote, signing up, paying or letting us onto your property, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.
1. Our services
We remove dog waste from the areas of your property we agree on, double-bag it and place it in your general waste bin, in line with local council rules. Unless agreed in writing, our service doesn't include removing other animals' waste, cleaning urine stains, deodorising, mowing or garden maintenance.
2. Quotes and prices
- Online quotes are based on the information you give us, such as postcode, number of dogs and frequency.
- If your yard, number of dogs, access or amount of waste is materially different from what you told us, we may adjust your price. We'll tell you before your next visit, and you can cancel without penalty if you don't accept the new price.
- We may change our prices with at least 14 days' notice.
3. First clean and catch-up cleans
- If waste has built up, your first visit is an initial clean-up so regular visits start from a clean yard.
- Free first clean offer: for residential customers, including landlords. The first clean (normally $129) is free when you then complete 4 consecutive regular cleans. If you cancel, or your service ends, before your 4th regular clean, the $129 first-clean fee is charged.
- If waste builds up heavily after a pause or missed visits, we may charge a catch-up fee. We'll quote it before we do the work.
- We can't guarantee complete removal in grass longer than about 15 cm or under heavy leaf litter or debris.
4. Access and safety
- You'll give us safe access to the agreed areas for each scheduled visit.
- If we can't safely complete a visit because of something within your control, for example a locked or blocked gate, an aggressive or unrestrained dog, or a hazard you didn't tell us about, we'll let you know and the visit counts as completed and is charged.
- We only work in safe conditions. If weather or another safety issue means we need to move your visit, we'll contact you and reschedule.
- We may refuse or stop work if we reasonably believe it's unsafe for our staff.
- Please tell us about hazards, such as broken fencing, holes, chemicals, wasps or snakes, and keep nervous or protective dogs inside during visits.
5. Pets and gates
We close and latch gates and take a photo after every visit. You remain responsible for your pets and the security of your property, including faulty gates, latches and fences, gates opened by other people and pets left unsecured. Please tell us in writing about any gate or fence problem. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for loss or harm caused by these things.
6. Payments
- Regular residential service is prepaid by subscription through Stripe and charged on your billing cycle.
- If a payment fails, we may pause your service until it's paid.
- Commercial, strata and NDIS invoices are due within 14 days.
- If an amount stays overdue after we've given you written notice, you agree to pay our reasonable costs of recovering it.
7. Cancelling and pausing
- There's no lock-in contract. You can cancel anytime with 7 days' written notice by text, WhatsApp or email.
- You can pause for holidays with 7 days' notice.
- We may end the service with 7 days' notice, or immediately for non-payment, abusive behaviour or a serious safety issue.
- Prepaid amounts for visits we haven't done, other than visits counted as completed under section 4, will be refunded or credited.
8. Re-clean guarantee
If we've missed a spot, tell us within 24 hours of your visit and we'll come back and clean it again at no cost. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Liability
- We take care on every visit. If we damage your property through our negligence, we'll repair it or pay the reasonable cost of repair.
- To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for: items hidden in long grass or debris, such as reticulation heads, toys or hoses; pre-existing lawn, garden or surface damage; events outside our reasonable control; or indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Photos
We may take photos of your gate and service areas as proof of service. We won't publish photos that identify you or your address without your permission.
11. Gift cards
- Gift cards start at $50 and never expire.
- They can be used for any of our services and can be passed on to someone else.
- They can't be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires.
- Treat gift cards like cash. We'll replace a lost card if we can verify it.
12. Refer a friend
- When someone you refer signs up as a new residential client and has paid for and completed 4 consecutive regular cleans, you get $50 and they get $50.
- Rewards are paid as account credit, or by bank transfer if you're not a current client.
- Your friend must be a new subscriber to Perth Poo Patrol and must name you when they sign up, or be submitted through our referral form. There's no limit on how many friends you can refer, and each new client earns one reward.
- You must have your friend's permission to share their details with us.
- We may change or end the referral program at any time, but we'll honour rewards already earned.
13. NDIS participants
- We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not an NDIS registered provider and can't bill agency-managed plans.
- You or your nominee are responsible for checking that our service fits your plan and that funds are available.
- If your plan manager doesn't pay an invoice within 30 days, you're responsible for paying it.
14. Commercial and strata clients
We agree a written scope, schedule and price before starting. Changes to the scope may change the price. Either party can end the service with 14 days' written notice unless otherwise agreed.
15. Privacy
We handle your personal information under our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For regular clients, we'll give at least 14 days' notice of changes that affect you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
17. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll work to fix it quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
